Some boards earn their reputation the only way that really matters, through real sessions in real conditions. The Skillit is one of those boards, which is exactly why Cabrinha brought it back.

Inspired by the original Skillit, this latest version is a nod to its heritage rather than a recreation. The familiar all-round feel remains, but the design has been reworked with a modern approach to shaping and performance. Built for the waves most of us actually ride, small to mid-size surf with changing wind and imperfect sections, the Skillit focuses on speed, flow, and making the most of every section.

The outline and rocker are tuned to feel forgiving and predictable, allowing you to carry speed through turns, link sections, and stay composed when conditions aren’t textbook. It’s a board that feels comfortable immediately, yet rewards commitment as you push it harder.

For 2026, the Skillit also benefits from a new DSV bottom, a Double-in-Single Concave design shared across the surfboard range. While the concept itself isn’t new, the execution delivers a noticeable improvement in feel, smoothing out chop, increasing responsiveness, and maintaining control when pressure builds underfoot.

The result is a board that respects the past while clearly moving forward. Familiar in spirit, modern in design, and built for the conditions that define everyday kitesurfing.
