The Cabrinha Mantis has undergone a redesign to take it further into the realm of the wing that is often copied, but never imitated.
Increased segments in the wingtip to aid in better canopy tension, an outline change to shift the draft balance forward to increase power on the front hand, as well as the introduction of a new rigid batten to help are just some of the key features that set this wing apart from the rest.
The Mantis remains the top choice for riders seeking reliable power and unmatched performance.
Available in 2m, 2.5m, 3m, 3.5m, 4m, 4.5m, 5m, 5.5m and 6m.
Convex Dihedral helps expand the range of the Mantis by providing an increased power to stability ratio. It also creates more steering stability of the wing while flying by the handle on a wave.
The new convex strut provides not only increased strength and stiffness, but also allows for a longer attachment between strut and canopy giving a clean fully tensioned profile at all angles of flight.
The Load Path Panel Layout has been carefully designed to help mitigate the varying loads and elongation that occur on wings, translating into a cleaner and more structural product in a wider range of conditions.
Panel layouts running across the wing help distribute load equally throughout the canopy leading to a better distribution of load in key areas across the wing.
It's often said a clean canopy is an efficient one. The Mantis is Cabrinha's cleanest, precisely tensioned canopy design we've ever created. This translation of design to simple on-demand power has led to its ever growing popularity in the wing market.
A refined window layout, running parallel alongside the strut, made from weather resistant TPU provides increased visibility when riding.
Teijin D2 Ripstop is a 55 g/m2 material with a 3mm double rip stop pattern. This micro rip stop material in unison with a newly developed coating, has given us a 2X increase in the canopy’s tear strength. A smaller rip stop pattern increases the amount of “cells” in any given panel.
Indexing attachment points lock down the composite handles eliminating any rotation at each connection point. The culmination is the most rigid, direct handle design to date.
Two sprint valves connection the Stiff Strut to the Leading edge allow for increased airflow to aid in both inflating and pack down.
The TE load distributor increases wing durability while robustly helping distribute wing tension throughout the trailing edge. The abrasive material stops scuffing while the wing rests on land.
