Trailing Edge Tension and Shape:
Slightly sheeted-out wingtips increase trailing edge tension for speed and control. Trimmed, curved TE reduces drag for a cleaner airflow and smoother ride.
Stiff N-Weave45 Airframe:
High-tensile woven fibre with a 45-deg laminate for biaxial and torsional control, lower deflection and movement. N-Weave45 creates a stiffer, lighter rig with highly efficient power delivery.
Stiffer LE and XLT-Joint:
North have structurally reinforced the LE centre panel with an extra layer of N-Weave45. This helps stiffen the XL T-Joint connection for a more direct power transfer and stable, deformation-resistant profile.
Carbon UDI Technology:
Lightweight anti-deflection UD carbon tapes run inside the entire leading edge for additional support, resulting in an even stiffer, more reactive airframe that snaps back into shape faster.
ShiftLock Modular Handle Mounting:
North's proven modular track system lets you slide and lock any handles (or boom) into any position. Choose from the single 1100 or 950 boom to the 500, 400, or 250 handles, or front 400 J-Handle.
Ergonomic Strut Geometry:
The segmented strut allows you hold your wing in a more comfortable riding position with two handles, relieving arm fatigue and elbow strain. Try with ShiftLock J-Handle for max effect.
Connected Hyperflow Dual Inflation:
The independent LE valve and Strut valve are connected by a hose with clip, enabling higher pressure inflation of the strut than LE, and fast inflation and deflation from a single point.
Slight Flat Dihedral:
Thin low-drag profile sections and flatter dihedral generate forward thrust, lift and stability at higher apparent wind speeds. The faster you go, the steadier the wing feels.
