The Core NXS has been built for riders who refuse to commit to just one discipline and demand outstanding performance in every condition.

Developed on an entirely new platform, it combines the versatility of the Core Nexus with noticeably higher performance, modern construction and an even more harmonious flying feel. Not an update. Not a compromise. A Core all-rounder for riders with high expectations.

Compared to the Nexus, the NXS delivers noticeably stronger boosting performance with clean, controlled landings, while fully retaining its playful all-round character. At the same time, it offers greater agility and improved drift than the more performance-oriented Pace, making it equally at home in waves and on a foil. Smooth power delivery and high control in demanding conditions complete the package.

Freeride:

Experience the full performance of a sporty freeride kite with the NXS. Its moderate high aspect 3-strut design with fixed bridle delivers direct, predictable handling and a solid bar feel. Relaxed cruising, impressive jumping performance with reliable hangtime, smooth kiteloops and high agility – all combined in a modern all-round kite.

Waves:

In the waves, benefit from outstanding drift and the smooth power delivery inherited from the Section’s surf profile. The NXS gives you maximum freedom on the wave while supporting fluid turns and aggressive cutbacks. Playful, reactive and always under control.

Foil:

The weight optimized construction using ExoTex® 3, ExoTex® Light and CoreTex® 2 enhances the NXS’s exceptional drift, making it an excellent foil kite. In rolling swell, it flies perfectly balanced and is instantly there when you need it.

Exotex Leading Edge:

The NXS leading edge is built from a performance ExoTex® 3 dacron, delivering increased torsional stiffness while maintaining excellent shape stability. The result is calm, controlled flight with precise steering response – even in gusty winds or under heavy load. Especially in waves, ExoTex® 3 inspires confidence and predictability without sacrificing agility.

Coretex 2 Triple Ripstop Canopy:

Developed exclusively for CORE, the CoreTex® 2 triple ripstop canopy combines high tear resistance with exceptionally low stretch. On the NXS, this ensures a clean, stable canopy profile and consistent power delivery across the entire wind range. The result is a harmonious flying feel with reliable feedback – even after many intense sessions.

3-Strut Light Frame:

The NXS features a 3 strut design built around an ExoTex® 3 leading edge and lightweight, fast reacting ExoTex® Light struts. Reduced weight enables faster steering response. Less mass improves drift, enhances handling and creates a free, agile flying feel. On the twintip as well as in surf, the NXS delivers playful control and outstanding versatility.

Moderate Aspect Ratio:

With its moderate aspect ratio, the NXS prioritizes control, predictability,and versatility over maximum projected power. The balanced geometry, combined with the 3-strut frame, ensures stable flight, improved drift and smooth power delivery – especially in waves and variable conditions.

Surf Profile:

The surf profile is a defining element of the NXS character. It provides even, controlled power delivery without aggressive spikes and supports stable drift in waves. During down line turns and strapless maneuvers, the kite remains predictable and follows the rider cleanly – enabling fluid turns and maximum control in demanding surf conditions.

Radical Reaction Tips:

The NXS tip geometry is a refined fusion of Nexus, Pace and Section DNA. Wider tips enable fast reactions, clean steering input and improved drift. Steering input is translated instantly, without ever feeling twitchy.Ideal for controlled turns, loops and precise kite placement in the wave.

Fixed Tectanium Bridle:

The fixed bridle keeps the NXS perfectly positioned in the wind window and delivers stable, consistent pull. The kite is less prone to front stalling, builds consistent front line tension and is far more forgiving of steering errors. This calm, predictable character truly shines in waves and changing conditions.

Hyperflow System:

CORE’s new HyperFlow system sets new standards in efficiency, cleanliness and serviceability. Larger hoses and strut connections maximize airflow, enabling extremely fast inflation and deflation.

Speed Valve:

The robust Speed Valve is permanently integrated into the leading edge. The pump hose connects directly via bayonet fitting, delivering maximum airflow during inflation. Fast, comfortable, and reliable – exactly what counts when water time is precious.

Core Power Seam:

The leading edge is the structural backbone of any kite. With the proven CORE Power Seam, the NXS continues to set benchmarks in durability. Each stitch penetrates and connects multiple material layers, with additional reinforcement in the center closing seam. Instant Relaunch:

With the Sensor 4S, Core consistently push the evolution of their bar system forward. Based on years of experience, key details have been purposefully refined.

A new bar made from long fibre carbon reinforced high performance polymer delivers increased stiffness, robustness and load resistance. Stiffer and more durable lines provide noticeably more direct feedback and precise control.

The updated colour concept now features a consistent grey yellow signal coding on the left bar side across both versions.

Reworked click in service inserts in the bar centre can now be replaced for the first time without disassembling the bar.

The FlexTrim clamp, integrated into the floater, allows easy backline fine tuning without untying.

Titanium Core:

The integrated titanium truss ensures our twin auto-untwist centre lines that pass through the centre of the bar do not affect the bombproof rigidity of our bar. It might be overkill, but Core prefer it that way. And if the centre lines wear out the bar guide, you can replace it with a fresh one.

Supported Single Frontline Safety:

CORE's exclusive hybrid system combines the advantages of a single front line, double front line, and fifth line safety. When deployed, it blows out the front line (below the "Y") eliminating pull.

At the same time, a pulley system shortens the second front line (above the "Y") which moves the kite to a stable and safe relaunch position.

Stealth Winders:

No divots, sharp corners, or hard protruding ends on this bar. The clean, minimalistic and soft bar ends don't just look fantastic but are super grippable. After your fun sesh, the bar ends fold open to reveal hidden line winders.

Griploc:

The narrow, non-slip asymmetric grip is easy on the hands – even for marathon sessions. Contrasting colors provide improved left/right visual guidance. And a thin redline on the underside lets you know if the bar is reversed.

Live Wire:

Feel more "connected" to your kite with floaters that don't interfere with the natural movement of the steering lines as they end a few centimeters above the bar. And adjust bar width (50/46.5cm) by merely swiveling the line block hidden under the Stealth Winders. Core also disappeared the elastic line keepers into the floaters for a clean, uncluttered kite session.

4:1 Adjuster:

Our block and cleat system reduces pulling forces by a factor of four making quick adjustments in gusts a breeze (pun intended:). And the adjuster rope features an elasticized construction which shortens and keeps the line out of your way.

CIC Release:

The heart of our new Core Intuitive Connect Release is our push-out and easy click-back-in quick release. The red CIC Release cap is designed to provide superior grip in emergency situations. And reconnecting the quick release is as simple as re-inserting the chickenloop end into the CIC mechanism until you hear it click in. CIC Release. Just release and click back in.

Auto Untwist:

Untwisting your front lines after looping your kite is as simple as pulling in the bar. Front line twists only occur below the Sensor 3 bar where a ceramic swivel unravels the front lines automatically. Another benefit is the sweet "between the fingers" comfort when your hand straddles the center lines due to the narrow width and special coating.

Spliced Ends:

A small but important detail relates to how we finish our line end loops. Core don’t simply fold over the line and stitch it up. Core braid the loop before stitching and finishing for a safer, stronger, and more aerodynamic connection.

Tectanium Front Lines (4s Pro):

The front lines from the "Y" to the chicken loop use our exclusive, low stretch, Tectanium and Core protect it with a 5.2mm, UV-stabilized, Polyether where it passes through the bar. Techno speak for really durable, self-lubricating, no pinch, depower lines. The virtually frictionless, depower/safety lines are more aerodynamic, provide better feedback, and are more comfortable between the fingers.

Short Leash:

Extra short is extra safe. The short safety leash comes standard with all CORE bar systems. When connected to your spreader bar, the short 50cm long leash delivers better ergonomics and safety. It is easier to see or grab and it won’t tangle like longer leashes might. If you do not see unhooked freestyle in your future, then protect yourself with a short leash.

Multi-Bag:

The multi-purpose barbag offers protection for your shiny Sensor 3 bar when you're on the road. Accessories, tools, spare parts, line extensions, and optional loops can be stored in the bag's compartments. The mesh insert on the back guarantees proper ventilation. Fold it away or hang it up in a visible spot, so you don't forget it.
