Technology
Penta-TX:

Penta TX, the guarantee for a sportier, more precise and crisper feel of the kite, achieved by 15% less overall weight and a five times higher tear resistance. Penta TX replaces Dacron and is showing 50% less elongation compared to standard Dacron.

Penta TX is a quite stiff material, resulting in a high structural stiffness, especially recognizable in strong wind conditions, leading to less deformation of the overall structure of the kite.

It's responsible for a very precise timing when edging, releasing the edge and all steering impulses - the precise and reliable steering of a racing car. Penta TX is used in the leading edge and the centre strut.

High Pressure Closing Seam:

The High-Pressure Closing and Intersegment Seam Technology ensures that our kites maintain optimal shape and integrity, even under extreme pressure. This advanced construction technique enhances the durability and performance of the kite by securely sealing the segments together, preventing deformation and ensuring consistent airflow.

Intersegment Leading Edge Construction:

The Leading Edge Intersegment Seam Construction increases the overall strength, stiffness, and direct flight stability of the airframe. Additional this is the lightest construction you can create for a kite.

Kook Proof Connectors:

The kook proof line connection points prevent accidents by guaranteeing that you cannot accidentally connect your lines incorrectly when rigging your kite.

Aluula D/TX Frame Construction:

The new Aluula D/TX has been developed together with Duotone and combines low weight with exceptional stiffness. The result is a kite frame that performs in light wind conditions just as impressively as in Big Air models. For designers the material opens up new freedom in tuning flex, torsion and stiffness, enabling even more precise and performance driven concepts.

6-Point Bridle:

The new 6-Point Bridle System supports the frame of the kite, keeping the leading edge stable and compact. It ensures smooth and direct power transmission, expands the usable wind range, and maintains reliable stability even in strong gusts.

Anti-Snag:

The Anti Snag webbing is preventing the lines from tangling around the tip of the kite.

Waterstarts are made easier and safety is increased.

Micro Batten Construction:

The Micro Batten Construction is 40% lighter compared to regular models and part of the overall concept to reduce weight and provides a cleaner and sleeker look of the kite without compromising durability or performance.

Micro Loop Connections:

The Duotone Micro Loop Connection is 40% smaller than in regular models and part of the overall concept to reduce weight on the leading edge.

Fusion Strut 2.0:

The Fusion Strut 2.0 links the leading edge and struts with one single connection, delivering maximum stability, a precise and dynamic flying experience, and reliable performance even in rough conditions.

MOD 3S:

The MOD 3S is evolutionary in kite canopy technology, offering enhanced strength and stability. This innovative material provides three times the tear resistance and significantly less stretch compared to previous generations, ensuring that your kite performs at its peak in even the most demanding conditions.

Single Stitch Trailing Edge:

The Single Stitch Trailing Edge is a refined design feature that minimizes weight and reduces flutter, enhancing the kite’s overall durability and performance. By streamlining the construction, we've achieved a cleaner, more aerodynamic profile that not only improves efficiency but also extends the kite's lifespan.

Control Bar
Duotone Trust Control Bar System:

Riders of all levels, from pros to newcomers, will all gain substantial advantages from the new Duotone Trust Bar system.

Safety - perform all moves with safety leash
Water Start - without swimming
Performance - increased performance due to wider wind range

All kites can be flown with the same bar, just the short line attached in the middle of the leading edge has to be adjusted to the different kite sizes. Instructions will be attached to all bars or upgrades.

Line Length Advisor:

Different styles of riding, different kite models or the kite size can be influencing factors that require different line length.

In order to further increase this synergy effect the 19 and 22 m lines come now on a medium bar (49 / 42 cm) and the 24 and 27m lines on a large bar (53 / 46 cm).

The bar is the riders’ first point of contact with the kite. In order to achieve a maximum in comfort of riding it is essential to match the kite and the riders’ style of riding to the correct line length.

19m (70% Handling / 30% Power)

Super fast and reactive tuning speeds, shorter lines are best for extreme freestyle and crazy kiteloops. They are also excellent for wave riding, where kite turning speed is important. Wakestyle riders like the close connection to the kite too. The disadvantage is you lose some of the low end power.

Fast and reactive turning
Extreme Freestyle, Wakestyle and Waves
Tight, super fast and hard kite loops

22m (60% Handling / 40% Power)

The favourite length for freestyle and waves! These 22m lines are still great for getting lots of speed from the kite, perfect for wave riding and freestyle. Not as extreme as the 19m lines, they still lose a bit of low end power.

Reactive turning
Fast Kite Loops
Great setup for freestyle riders
Best choice for waveriding

24m (50% Handling / 50% Power)

The best choice for an all round length, good turning speed combined with good power make 24m the perfect choice for a lot of riders. Great for freeride, waves and freestyle.

Most Versatile Length
Great for all-round freeriding
Good low end and a good turning speed
Most Versatile Length
High jumps as you can “load” the lines
The recommended size for a one bar quiver

27m (40% Handling / 60% Power)

The extra length means extra power, get a little more range out of your quiver by adding this bar with the longer lines. They are also great for jumping as you can really “load” the lines when you edge and send the kite back through the window.

Enormous Low End Power
Huge Jumps
Lots of Lift

The bar is your first point of contact with the kite, It is the connection between you and your kite and it is important to get it right. And it’s actually an easy formula: The shorter the lines, the more direct and faster the kite turns. The longer the lines, the more power you can generate out of them! Choose a Duotone Trust Bar, and choose the right line set up for your style of riding.
