Description

F-One is proud to present the brand-new edition of the Bandit Tec, the legendary kite, filled with innovations and offering ever more sensations and performances. Thanks to it's new CODE-TEC fabric, the Bandit Tec is now lighter and more responsive than ever, and benefits from new advances in design.

Responsive and precise, this Bandit Tec boasts exceptional handling, with enough support through the bar to let you feel every movement of the kite without forcing.

In strong winds, the kite positions itself at the edge of the wind window, maintaining a constant forward traction with no side pull. The result is remarkable upwind performance, without the need for too much edging, saving energy and freeing up your board.

In the low end, the Bandit Tec offers you maximal support, distributed evenly over the harness and back, taking the strain off your arms. You can ride effortlessly and steadily, enjoying a light bar feel at all times, making every session super satisfying.

Jumps are a real pleasure with this Bandit Tec. The stable support through the harness, combined with its manoeuverability and responsiveness, makes it easy to nail the perfect take-off. The boost is powerful and vertical, giving you impressive amplitude and height whilst, kite loops are also made easier thanks to the kite’s responsiveness. Traction is perfectly balanced, allowing you to land smoothly whatever the wind strength.

Combining performance, lightness, manoeuverability and responsiveness, the Bandit Tec excels in all disciplines, anywhere, anytime, in every condition, and no matter your level. A real pleasure to ride with, this new kite highlights once again our ongoing commitment to innovation, quality and accessibility.

Code Tec:

Code-Tec fabric offers an exceptional combination of lightness and strength. With less elongation and higher tear resistance, the Code-Tec provides greater structural stiffness, minimizing deformation under load. This leads to a more precise and sharper feel, as well as a more reactive handling, all while ensuring your kite maintains its shape in any conditions.

This material has been central to the new Bandit Tec’s design, marking the entry into a new era of this emblematic F-One kite. Sporting renewed graphic design as well, the Bandit Tec is once again more versatile than ever, adapting perfectly to all disciplines: strapless, foil, Big Air, freeride, wave, etc.

Main Features:
  • Brand new CODE-TEC fabric on leading edge and struts for lightness, responsiveness and stability
  • Exceptional and precise handling
  • Performance guaranteed in the entire wind range
  • Constant forward traction for greater comfort
  • Effortless upwind abilities
  • Optimized jumps and kite loops
  • New one-pump system for faster inflation and easier deflation

Features
Technology
Back Line Turning:

SHEETED IN The back line is released and the forces go through the front connector. The bar pressure increases and the manoeuvrability is less direct. It offers a very progressive bar with a feeling of a sheeted out back connector while we sheet in, therefore the pressure increases progressively.

SHEETED OUT The kite tilts and the back line stiffens. The tensions move to the trailing edge which has several effects: - less flapping - better start - manoeuvrability with less pressure.

Flat Sewing:

Stronger assembly of the panels: they are now glued and sewn together to make the canopy more rip resistant.

Streamlined Leading Edge End Tips:

The leading edge tips benefit from a reduced diameter, they are streamlined to lower the drag and equipped with a strap to avoid bridle tangling

Kevlar Reinforcement on Leading Edge:

Most seams on the leading edge are protected with an abrasion-resistant Kevlar® fabric to prevent the seams from deteriorating when the kite's profile is subjected to aggressive ground friction

Vertical Strut Cut:

The kite's struts are designed with a vertical cut in order to optimize the strength / diameter ratio.

One-Pump Collar Valve:

Easier to remove and put back.

Convenient for bladder replacement.

Spider Bridle:

The Spider Bridle is a multi-point of connection well dispatched along the leading edge which offers a better control of the arc of the kite during the flight. The stability in all wind conditions is very impressive and pushes the high wind range to incredible limits.

F-One Pulley:

The new, CNC-shaped, anodized aluminium low friction «pulleys” are super lightweight and increase the kite’s reactivity. They also raise the bridle’s resistance to abrasion and its overall durability.

Control Bar
F-One Linx Control Bar:

The F-One Linx bar takes all the best bits of the Monolith Bar and added some great features to create the ultimate connection to your kite.

The Linx bar is available in two sizes, 52-45 and 45-38cm; this allows you to choose the perfect size bar for your quiver. The new integrated floats on the rear line not only offer a cleaner look; they also house the mechanism to adjust the size of your bar too.

A new One Line Flag Out safety system features this year and is now the standard for all F-ONE kites. There’s a high-quality corrosion proof Inox steel hub on the front lines that allows one line to slide. The first 6m of the front lines are larger in diameter for durability, and there is a stopper to prevent the bar from travelling too far away from you when the safety is engaged.

F-One have also added a manual swivel on top of the chicken loop this year; it uses a high-quality ball bearing and is easy to rotate even when powered. This allows you to untwist your front lines after performing rotational tricks and is a feature every rider is going to fall in love with!

The Lifeline safety connection has an added swivel, so there is no danger of twists affecting the release of the kite, and the same goes for the leash too. The safety can be set up in suicide mode for freestyle riders while still retaining full functionality when the chicken loop is released as the loop can slide through the Lifeline safety connection with ease.

There’s a new Inox steel ring on the front lines; riders can choose to run the front lines through this ring to give the kite a short V on the front lines. Or you can run the lines outside of this ring to have a full front V. Kites like the Furtive perform better with the full front V, while the Bandit flies better with the short V. This feature of the bar means you only need one kite bar regardless of your quiver of kites.

F-One have retained the ability to tune the rear lines, so if a line does stretch, you can still tune the bar so all the lines are equal and the kite will still fly properly.

The LINX bar features a smaller diameter to make it comfier in your hands and reduce fatigue and, of course, we have new fresh colours!
