Description

With its light pull, light weight and light input, the Naish S27 Boxer is the ultimate kite for underpowered riding and foiling. The single luff strut and Quad-Tex construction create a lightweight framework that stays in the air easily—even in super light wind. This eliminates any struggle to keep the kite up, so you can keep your focus on foiling. When sheeting out, it quickly offers a lot of depower in a shorter throw. This keeps the kite from pulling too much and feels as if it almost disappears.

These kites now sit deeper in the window, giving you a more solid feel while foiling. The panel count is also optimized by size, meaning all kites in the range have a similar feel due to the larger sizes having more panels and the smaller sizes having fewer. This brings the ultimate balance of structure and weight per size. The Dacron layout has also been redesigned to keep weight down.

Along with a new lightweight/streamlined TLS 500 bridle lines, the Boxer now flies better than ever in light air. The huge size range from 2.8-16.0m means the Boxer has the largest range in the Naish lineup, with the bigger sizes being great light wind twin tip options, the middle sizes being great for all-around light wind riding (surfboard, foil, twin tip) and the smaller sizes excelling at kite foiling.

A point which may be overlooked by most riders, the Boxer shines at light wind and down-the-line wave riding, drifting better than almost anything due to its lightweight single luff strut design.

An outstanding underpowered kite, the Boxer is incredibly easy to relaunch, light to the touch, responsive but gentle. Very easy to sheet in and go, this kite is quick, easy to control and generates power quickly. It’s light and lively feel at the fingertips makes it approachable and forgiving. In short, the Boxer is the proverbial “yes man”—eager to please, easy to control and supportive enough to explore your own style.

It is also ideal for intermediate to advanced riders who want one compact kite for travelling, freeriding, wave riding and snow kiting.

Quad-Tex Material:

Taking this sought-after C-kite to the next level, the addition of the Quad-Tex canopy makes the Pivot practically indestructible. Already engineered for solid control and handling in strong winds, the addition of Quad-Tex’s 4x-reinforced ripstop and perfectly balanced weave matrix—testing 30% stronger and stiffer than any other around heightens the stability and responsiveness of the Boxer design. The pinnacle of freestyle performance just became stronger and more accessible; time to experience the pure precision of the Boxer.

Naish Boxer Depower:

The Naish Boxer is a kite that depowers by flying to the edge of the window. Compared to other kites, the Boxer’s foil profile is thinner, and its Leading Edge diameter is smaller.

These two characteristics allow the kite to fly further forward in the window, and get there fast. This gives it the ability to depower quickly.

Technology
Swept Compact C:

The swept compact C-shape blends the pop and lift of a C-kite with the power, control, and turning of a swept leading edge kite.

In addition, it provides ideal relaunch capabilities.

Evolutive Profile:

The profile’s depth and shape evolves along the airfoil, helping create a fast flying, stable kite with less back stalling.

The centre sections generate power thanks to a deeper profile, while the flatter profile in the tips minimizes drag and allows faster turning.

Radial Segmented Arc:

The radial segmented shape uses short linear segments to accurately form the kite’s arc.

Low Drag Wing Tip:

This wing tip geometry decreases the overall surface area of the non-lifting portion, greatly reducing drag.

The more efficient the lift/drag ratio becomes, the faster the wing tip can move through the air. This allows the kite to be both quicker and more responsive through turns.

Octopus Inflation System:

This proven, quick, and easy single-point inflation system creates uniform pressure in the struts and leading edge.

Naish’s exclusive one-way internal valve ensures that the pressure within the struts does not change during turns.

Control Bar
Naish Torque Control Bar System

Riders of all levels, from pros to newcomers, will all gain substantial advantages from the new Naish Torque 2 System.

The Torque 2 bar takes the proven design of the original version and refines it with new grips and floaters, new PU-coated trim lines which feel smoother on your hands and reduce wear, a new slimmer one-piece trim cleat, and a new stopper ball to limit release throw.

The all new SnapLock quick release puts safety and efficiency as the top priorities, while adding click in simplicity and modularity with different loop sizes. The Torque 2 bar takes the proven design of the original version and refines it with new grips and floaters, new PU coated trim lines which feel smoother on your hands and reduce wear, a new slimmer one piece trim cleat, and a new stopper ball to limit release throw.

A 4-line or 5-line control system in a simple ergonomic layout. The 3m single centre line split allows the removal of heavy parts and allows the front line flagging leash and optional 5th Line Kit to function efficiently.

The Naish Control bar comes standard with the Smart Loop, auto-orienting sheeting loop, and optional sliding stopper.

The result is a simple and functional control system that provides the rider with greater confidence in its functionality in all situations.

With a greatly improved “through the bar” front line leash system, and new larger floaters, the ATB Control System is more streamlined and functional than ever before.

All kite sizes can be flown with the same bar.
