Push beyond your imagination. The Ozone Fusion V2 Ultra-X is the ultimate weapon for those who need race winning performance. Featuring a patented double surface design, Ram Air tech and a new full Aluula airframe, it’s the ultimate weapon for those who need race winning performance.

The Fusion wing is designed around the high-performance planform of the Flux, including the pre-loaded leading edge, which is made with stiff performance dacron and experiences drastically less deformation in strong conditions.

The 100% double surface ram air design creates an enclosed high pressure space between the entire upper and lower surfaces. The internal rib structure supports both sail layers and helps the wing smoothly deal with dynamic pressure differentials when the wing’s angle-of-attack changes.

The new, full Aluula air frame has allowed Ozone to design a reduced diameter, stiffer leading edge for even more performance, while the addition of new race-ready canopy windows mean you’re all set for the ultimate, controlled, high-speed experience.

The Fusion’s design has unlocked enormous performance potential. Producing more lift, while reducing drag, means performance gains have moved in bigger steps and these improvements are revealed in far more areas than just locked-in, straight line speed.

By completely fairing the lower surface, designing a clean envelope structure and adding ram air intakes, the air pressure created internally helps the upper and lower surface retain positive pressure and tension over its entire area.

The end result is unique; a beautifully crafted 100% double-surface wing with stunning performance, sublime design and manufacturing solutions throughout.

Weight Reduction:

Ozone stripped the double surface design down to the performance essentials and took inspiration from the internal ribs in their R1 V5 ram air race kites. Applying similar internal rib cut out shapes on the Fusion V2 Ultra-X have reduced weight while also increasing pressure between the two surfaces thanks to better air flow inside. Combined with the new miniribs on the trailing edge, and more efficient air intake valves near the leading edge, the double surface profile is now even tighter and more solid. All aspects of upwind performance and handling have improved as a result, so you can discover the ultimate in smooth handling, however rough the conditions may seem.

Variable Leech Line:

Use the pigtail adjustment on each wingtip to fine-tune the leech (trailing edge) tension to suit various conditions and performance requirements.

Tighter leech - Increases low-end power by creating more profile camber, making deeper downwind angles and riding through lulls easier to achieve. A tight leech slightly reduces top-end speed and overall stability.

Looser leech - Maximises top-end speed and upwind performance at optimum trim. The wing becomes more stable in gusts, and slightly more sensitive in lulls. Riding at deep downwind angles with a loose leech requires a more advanced technique.

Manoeuvrability:

The Fusion V2 Ultra-X is much more manoeuvrable, making tacks and gybes easier and quicker to initiate. Take a bigger wing, capitalise on its power, and let its ease-of-use help you preserve vital energy across a long race day.

Handles:

Tailored handle position and length to the latest racer requirements. Depending on where you are on the race course and how powered you are, the longer front handle allows you to adjust front hand pressure. The handles also now feature contoured finger bumps for improved grip.

Lightweight Upper Surface Canopy:

A lighter weight upper surface canopy material further contributes to the overall reduction in weight.

Drainage Holes:

Water ingress now drains from between the surfaces quicker.

Quickdry:

With lighter materials and overall weight, the wing dries quicker after your session.
