The Ozone Hyperlink bridges the gap between inflatable and foil kites. It's as dynamic and engaging to ride as an inflatable combined with the high performance characteristics of a foil.
The Hyperlink V3 is a true multipurpose foil kite, bridging the gap between inflatables and foils - dynamic and engaging to ride with high performance characteristics. The third version brings a new feeling of performance and covers almost every aspect of Kiting. Free ride, hydrofoil, boost and float, air style or unhooked, backcountry snow missions, you name it and it delivers!
Completely re-designed the third version incorporating new technology developed during the design process of our high performance race winning R1 V4 and Chrono V4. A new plan-form, bridle line layout, internal structure, Transverse Sail Shaping and increased cell count make the Hyperlink V3 more dynamic to fly, sitting further forward in the wind window with increased drive upwind and less physical to ride than the V2. Additionally, the bar pressure has been reduced with the option to increase or decrease by simply adjusting the Brake Line Settings.
These new design features and performance attributes make the Hyperlink V3 feel lighter and more playful in the air. Handling and power generation through turns is where it excels making it a fun kite for active flying when the conditions are light. The upper wind range also has been massively increased to be comparable with a similar size inflatable kite. The increased handling, lighter bar pressure and power generation through the turns make it the dream snowkite, you can ride all day without fatigue.
The Hyperlink V3 also features a durable, airtight and lightweight double rip-stop Nylon material for the upper and lower surfaces. The material has a unique formulated coating to help shed water, improving flying characteristics and water re-launch.
The new valve design and position with a new internal structure increases inflation efficiency. Newly designed drainage valves at both wing tips seal to keep air in, and open up when water needs to drain out.
The ability to safely self-land a kite on the snow or land is a crucial feature when adventuring the backcountry or high mountain areas. We have completely re-designed the Hyperlink V3 internal structure and inflate valves to incorporate our industry leading Internal Re-Ride Release System – the same system featured on our dedicated Snowkites.

Flight Characteristics:
If you are looking to get the most out of your light wind sessions, the Hyperlink will peak your experience. With incredible upwind performance, low end grunt and huge float in jumps it will have you ripping!
Riding on snow or land is easy with the Hyperlink with plenty of power and handling in light winds to be clocking high speeds and long airtime.
Hyperlink on the Water:
On the water with a Twin-tip the Hyperlink is a light wind monster; loads of power, easy to jump and stable. Due to the abundance of power and efficiency gaining upwind ground is ridiculously easy, in light wind its impressive how high and floaty jumps can be with the Hyperlink. No question at all, this is a pop and float machine, just edge hard and send it, too easy!
One other noticeable benefit is how much easier it is to tack when riding with a Foil board. This is thanks to the longer lifting period the Hyperlink gives you during that critical tacking moment compared to an LEI.
Hyperlink on the Snow:
On the snow the Hyperlink takes the sport to another level, more power and performance in light winds, extended jump and flight time with a much better glide angle and the improved handling makes it possible to ride in lighter winds just by generating apparent speed, which means you can ride a smaller size than normal.
Hyperlink on the Land:
On the land the Hyperlink that Ozone have made in kite stability mean that you can work on your landboard freestyle moves without worrying about the kite collapsing or falling out of the sky. For buggy riders the improvements mean freestyle or racing manoeuvres are easy and more intuitive with smoother coordinated handling.
4/5 Line Mode:
The Hyperlink comes standard in 4-Line Closed Cell Mode, utilising Ozone's Front Line Flag Out Release System. This is recommended for water use – it is a simple and effective flag out when the Quick Release is activated – it works the same way as Ozone's 4-line inflatable water kite range
The optional 5-Line Internal Re-Ride Release System Conversion Kit is recommended for snow or land use. The Internal Re-Ride Release System de-powers the kite instantly without tangling, and falls to the ground to re-launch when ready.
