Cross Kites Pro Impulse Trainer

The Cross Kites Pro Impulse TR is a 3-line trainer kite, an easy-to-control powerkite with a bar, a third-line safety system, and simple relaunch.

It stays where you want it in the wind window, flying efficiently towards the edge but easy to bring back when you want more power. It also turns noticeably tighter than you'd expect for its size, even the largest, 3.0 m², handling comfortably without a big steering movement.

The canopy holds its shape well even when moved quickly, staying stable and predictable, forgiving enough for someone learning, but direct enough to respond clearly to input.

Two outside lines handle steering, while the third line acts as both a safety and relaunch line. Activating the safety brings the kite down gently with very little remaining pull, and the same line helps get it back up if it lands the right way. The bar carries clear colour coding throughout, red for the left line, black for the right, and blue for the safety line, making it easy to connect and to untangle if things get twisted.

The canopy uses a lightweight 40D nylon shell with stronger 70D polyester internal profiles, paired with a low-stretch Dyneema bridle and SK75 Dyneema flying lines, both with stitched terminations for a clean, consistent connection.

The Impulse TR comes ready to fly, straight out of the bag.
