The Peter Lynn Hype Trainer is the perfect kite for a day out with the whole family. Next to having some cool colours, it is equipped with a control bar instead of straps, giving the kite a tougher overall look and feel.
It is incredibly easy to setup and fly and suitable for all ages and skill levels.
Flying the Hype Trainer does not require any prior kiting experience as its docile flying behaviour ensures there are no sudden power surges when flying the kite through the wind/window.
This brawny version of the Hype will surely inspire lots of kids to make a safe but serious start into kite powered sports.
The Peter Lynn Hype Trainer is the perfect companion for lots of easy going flying fun, while learning the basics of flying a kite on a control bar.
Peter Lynn has put extra effort into designing the Hype Trainer in such a way that everyone, no matter age or skill, can fly it with confidence.
The Hype Trainer responds very well to even the slightest steering input, giving the flier complete control all the time. Each size Hype Trainer is based upon the standard Hype and tuned to fly better on a bar to ensure a rewarding challenge!
Constand Docile Pull:
The Peter Lynn Hype Trainer is designed to fly with constant power and a nice docile pull. The kite will not suddenly build up a great amount of power so you can enjoy you kite flying and concentrate on getting your kite flying skills sorted.
While the Hype Trainer is a very friendly kite, it does have some power, especially in higher winds. Peter Lynn has extensively tested the popular Hype design to make it fly as smooth as possible, when you fly the Hype Trainer through the wind window, there are no sudden power build-ups. This makes the kite very comfortable and predictable to fly. This smooth and docile flying behaviour makes it the perfect kite for the whole family.
Predictable Flying Behaviour:
The Peter Lynn Hype Trainer has a predictable flying behaviour. The kite's turning speed as well as a response on the handles gives you good feedback on what the kite is doing throughout the whole wind window. You will feel in control at all times.
The Peter Lynn Hype Trainer is very stable, it does not tend to luff over your head in remains in shape whatever its position in the wind window. Your kite will fly smooth and give you more time flying your kite instead of trying to recover or relaunch it.
Good stability ensures that the kite does not collapse or ‘luff’ when you fly it through the wind window or when the winds are less stable. A good stable kite is also far less likely to catch you off guard when you happen to get distracted.
The Peter Lynn Hype Trainer is designed to relaunch easily from the ground. The Hype though has been designed to relaunch quickly and easily for a 2-line kite, so you can spend more time flying!
As every kite flier is likely to crash their kite sooner or later when they’re starting out, it is important that the kite is easy to get back in the air. For this reason Peter Lynn has chosen for a rather round shape (or lower aspect ratio). This ensures that the kite easily flips back over when it is nose down on the ground; just tug on one of the steering lines and off it goes again.
- Low Aspect Ratio - for easy handling and predictable flying behaviour
- Crossvented Profiles - to ensure the complete kite easily fills with air improving stability and relaunch
- Minimised Bridle - to reduce the chance of bridles hooking behind each other
- Rock Solid Construction - combined with specifically chosen materials for top skin, lower skin and profiles to ensure maximum durability
- Velcro bridle loop to minimize the chance of bridles getting tangled when packing the kite.
