Future C-Shape:

The Section 5 relies on the proven Future-C shape, enhanced especially for this model.

Thanks to its moderate aspect ratio, it flies super-fast and direct, remaining optimally noticeable and controllable in every turn. This tuning is rounded off with an incomparably precise pressure point.

Exotex Light Ultra Rigid Dacron:

While the ultra-resistant ExoTex 2 is used for the leading edge, the struts are made of ExoTex Light.

Incorporating a radial thread pattern and emulsion (protective coating) process that reduces mass by approximately ten percent. This combination saves weight, optimizes turning behavior and increases drift ability.

Speed Pump System:

This model receives shorter air hoses to reduce weight and improve airflow to the struts.

When you haven't kited in a few days, every second counts :)

Instant Relaunch:

The Section is designed to immediately drift into a perfect relaunch position when it hits the water. One quick tug on the bar and the Section launches itself effortlessly.

3-Strut Light Frame:

The Section's proven strut frame saves weight, guarantees outstanding balance in light winds, and overwhelming drift on the down-the-line course.

Lighter than its predecessor and still suitable for massive, big waves all along the line.

Coretex Triple Ripstop Canopy:

Our, industry-leading, triple ripstop canopy fabric is protected and strengthened with a special coating process.

CoreTex sets the standard in breaking strength, tear resistance, longevity, UV protection and elongation. Feel the tight, crisp signature only a CoreTex kite delivers.

Speed Valve 2:

The Speed Valve 2 connects directly to any standard 20mm OD twist lock pump hose.

The Speed Valve 2 maximizes airflow, minimizes inflation times and noticeably reduces pump pressure.

This inflation/deflation system is so good you may even leave your electric pump at home.

Surf Profile:

The lowest point of the profile is further back, and the aspect ratio is lower than that of the Nexus 4. This increases the drift efficiency of the Section 5.

Grintex Patches:

Extreme abrasion resistant patches on leading edge segment seams and strut attachment points give the XLite another level of protection from perfectly placed beach hazards.

Ultra Short Bridle System:

The Section 5 retains its short pulley bridles for an extremely smooth turn, an ultra-direct character that translates into optimal feedback at the bar and responds to control commands without delay.

Thanks to the Pulley-Bridle and Future C Shape, you always have the choice of the exact pivot point. Pull tight loops in aggressive turns without being pulled off the board or choose a slightly wider radius for a more powerful kiteloop for example as eject button in the wave breaking above you.

Core Sensor 4 Control Bar:

The Core Sensor Bar system is a trailblazer in several key areas: ultra-direct bar feel, simplicity, and high-end components and craftsmanship. With the fourth generation, Core have elevated the Sensor Bar's functionality, versatility and safety to a new level. 

Tested and certified by the IKO, the Sensor 4 can also be used to fly fixed-bridled kites such as the Pace Pro for the first time, as the all-new SFS+ ensures complete blowing out on just one frontline. And of course, it is also fully compatible with all other Core models as well as many other kites on the market. 

For the first time, it is possible to switch between a high V and a low V (or Y) in a matter of seconds. While all Core kites are optimized for a high V, a deep V offers advantages for radical action with short lines under 20 meters.

With SFS+ and High/Low-V-Line Split, the Sensor 4 becomes more versatile and can be universally combined with many kites on the market.  

The Sensor 4 Bar also has universal pigtails. This not only makes it easier to cut your bar to length, but also connects it to many other kites on the market.
