The Airush Ultra V5 has redefined our expectations. With unbeatable performance, weight saving features, and an exclusive Airush Load Frame for maximum durability, the Ultra V5 kite has been the go-to kite for foil riders, wave riders and snow kiters alike.

The Airush Ultra V5 really is the ultimate freeride foilboarding kite with incredible relaunching capabilities that can handle gusty conditions. It's stability, profile and light weight allows the Ultra to drift down the line, making it perfect for riding waves less powered, parking the kite and going for that true surf feel. The bigger sizes are also ideal for twintip freeriding no matter what your level.

Also ideal for gusty conditions, difficult launches and marginal conditions. you can ride one size smaller than anything else, giving you a lighter, smaller and even more responsive kite. The Airush Ultra maintains steering even when far forward in the window and/or underpowered. relaunching is easier due to the lightweight.

Lightweight Single Strut Technology:

The Ultra V5 is designed to maintain its shape and responsiveness by maximising the benefits of the unique Airush Load Frame. The balanced geometry combines canopy curve, leading edge sweep and a specific trailing edge concave.

By reducing the number of struts and combining this with WebTech smart reinforcing the weight of the Ultra V5 is minimised. This enables a greater level of performance in all wind conditions and allows us to push the boundaries of light wind performance.

Airush Ride Control Bar:

Simplicity without compromising quality, the Airush Ride Bar is the ideal companion.

An easy to use, reliable Aero cleat depower system with a tool-less position adjustment allows for the bar to be quickly and simply set up for riders with shorter reach. The durable EVA injected bar end floats are flexible for an overall better kite response and offer increased buoyancy.

Paired with any 4-line kite, the 24m flying lines, ISO 21853 aligned Airush IQR, and one-handed release and reset system complies with IKO and BKSA teaching standards with the Low-Y on the centre lines, allowing for a quick single line flag out.

Technoforce D2 Canopy:

This premium fabric is designed with a high-density structure that uses high-tenacity, double-coated polyester yarn in a double ripstop configuration.

The double coating protects the yarn as much as possible from UV and abrasion damage, ensuring that the canopy remains crisp and responsive for as long as possible.

Airush Bumpers:

Airush Bumpers are found throughout the leading edge of the kites to reduce wear and increase durability on rough surfaces.

These bumpers are key for increasing the lifespan of Airush kites.

V3.2 Bridle Pulley:

The key benefit of the V3.2 Bridle System is that the kite maintains steering even when completely de-powered, increasing the usable wind range and overall performance significantly while adding immense safety benefits.

The positioning of the bridle attachment points on the LE of the kite, combined with the V pulleys, results in lighter steering, but direct enough to feel the kite’s position whilst riding.

SPS and FBI:

The oversized SPS valve (Single Point Inflation System) optimizes inflation and deflation.

The Fast Bladder Inflation (FBI) features increased wall thickness and oversized diameter tubing, thus eliminating tube kink, reducing stress on your pump, and enabling quick and easy inflation.

Kevlar Reinforcement:

Kevlar, found in bulletproof vests, is found throughout the Airush kites.

These Kevlar Reinforcements are only put in the most critical areas to protect from wearing while still minimizing weight which affects the kites performance.

CENTRE FITTING:

High-strength 316L stainless steel centre fitting with ergonomic centre hole for better kite response, flush profile for easier grip, and no black oxide issues in sandy locations.

Industry leading, The Airush IQR Quick release system complies with the ISO Standard 21853. Kitted with a medium loop and security pin. Easily released with a single hand, when you need to. The IQR is simple, reliable and easy to reset, giving you peace of mind in all conditions.
