Compact Swept C-Kite:

This design blends the steering precision and speed of a C kite with the instant on and off power delivery that comes with swept wing tip shapes. This profile also provides instant and effortless water relaunch no matter the wind conditions.

4 x 4 Canopy Tech:

Upgraded canopy construction with Teijin 4x4 reinforced ripstop material. This is the strongest, stiffest and most durable canopy material on the market.

Flyweight Construction:

In addition to the simple weight reduction of removing struts, Slingshot also minimized stitching, paneling, extra leading edge reinforcements to make the Ghost as light as possible. Think about it this way we trimmed all the weight you don’t need while keeping what you do.

IRS Bridle:

The IRS Bridle replaces pulleys traditionally used on any bridle. Pulleys can be heavy, slow and inefficient. They can also create friction and unnecessary line wear. The IRS bridle’s features a bungee that eliminates the time necessary for the pulley to travel fore and aft depending on the rider’s control of the kite. This travel takes time and historically pulleys were the only way we could initiate it. With the IRS bridle the bungee does it, and does it better. What used to be delayed and unresponsive now happens instantly, seamlessly and automatically. This is a significant breakthrough in advancing kite performance.

Split Strut Technology:

Ride with confidence and control with a stronger, more stable and more ridged canopy. Created by Slingshot, SplitStrut technology has become the gold standard in kite design. SplitStrut integrates the kite’s canopy and struts into one firmly interconnected piece.

Built for ultimate control and confidence, the Compstick’s intuitive and streamlined below-the-bar depower and safety is unrivalled by any other bar on the market.

With continuous improvement in mind, Slingshot have added several upgrades to the Compstick, including new molded floats and padded bar-ends, a revised EVA grip design, bar-end bungee line-keepers and an improvement in how the floats fold in for storage.

Easy Reach Depower:

Allowing consistent grunt and stability throughout the powerstroke.

Good for boosts, megaloops and predictably recovers.

Guardian Safety System:

The safety release has been reworked from a pin to a clamp mechanism, which simplifies resetting the chicken loop assembly after it has been activated.

Improvements also include a re-sized chicken loop and a molded chicken-stalk assembly.

Auto Spin Swivel:

Rotating component untwists centre lines and helps ensure proper safety function at all times.

Active Stopper Ball:
